Connall
You were with us oh so briefly
Like a butterfly on a summers day
Flitting in
Flitting out
Your stay has changed us all
Left such precious memories
A brief interlude of sunlight
Tears of joy mixed with tears of sadness
Go now
Fly with the angels
Connall the strong
The first born
The special one
You will always be with us

Precious Little Boy
Apple of your parent's eye
And like a diamond in the sky
Always in your parent's arms you'll lay
In memories that will always stay
You broke our hearts but gave us joy
Precious Precious little boy

Baby Connall
If I had to wait a hundred years before you came,
I'd wait all that and more.
If I had to pull the sun down from the sky,
I would do that and more.
If I had all the money in the world,
That would never be enough for you.
If I had all the colours in the world,
The sky would still be blue.
Baby Connall say hello to your Mummy and Daddy,
For soon it's time to go.
To a star that shine so bright that we'll see you,
Shinning all day and all the night.
To our hearts and souls our lives were touched,
Tears of right and wrong.
We love you Baby Connall, our son, Goodbye,
Spread your wings, take flight.

A Grandmothers Tears
As tears of sadness fall from my eyes
A yearning so great to hold you Connall
My broken and shattered heart cries
Seconds, minutes, hours, days pass me by
You were too good for this earthly place
I pray to god every night and ask him why
He needed you more than us my grandson
One day when I meet him I may understand
When that day comes we will walk hand in hand

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
There's an elephant in the room.
It is large and squatting, so it is hard to get around it.
Yet we squeeze by with "How are you?" and "I am fine"...
And a thousand other forms of trivial chatter.
We talk about the weather.
We talk about work.
We talk about everything else---except the elephant in the room.
There's an elephant in the room.
We all know it is there.
We are thinking about the elephant as we talk together.
It is constantly on our minds.
For you see, it is a very big elephant.
But we do not talk about the elephant in the room.
